Arsenal have confirmed that flops Ryo Miyaichi and Semi Ajayi will be moving to German

Arsenal have confirmed that flops Ryo Miyaichi and Semi Ajayi will be moving to German outfit St Pauli and Cardiff respectively from next season.

The duo have featured a very little to the gunners. The former came to Arsenal in January 2011 and has been on loan spells to various clubs like Bolton, FC Twente, and Feyenoord. He does not appear to have a future at the Emirates stadium just likeAjayi, who was signed from Charlton’s Academy two years ago. He spent the last season on loan at Cardiff and he appears to have sufficiently impressed to the Championship club to offer a permanent contract.

More departures are expected at the Emirates stadium in the next few weeks, as the futures of players like Joe Campbell and Lukas Podolski will be sorted out. Podolski spent the last season on loan at Inter Milan, but they are not interested in a permanent deal after the poor performances of the German international. A return to Germany appears to be on the cards for the striker. Arsenal have always been a club to offer young players their chance in the first-team and one of the latest to try and get a regular spot is Gedion Zelalem. Continue reading

Arsenal has really been unlucky with the injuries of Players

Arsenal has really been unlucky with the injuries of the players this season.

The strength of their squad has already been halved by the injury of the big players and last night, one more name got added to it as Gabriel Paulista, the Brazilian centre-half, injured his hammy playing versus the Rangers.

Paulista is not that prominent a player for the Gunners, but, recently, he had started featuring in the heart of defence and had been going fine. Arsene Wenger could have done with him till the end of the season.

Hamstring injuries happen to be pretty nasty at times and it can make a player remain out for weeks.

In some cases, if it’s quite bad and can even take months. There is no definite time period for recovery.

And, that’s why; Wenger said that he was not sure how long Paulista would be out for.

The Frenchman, however, admitted that it’s unlikely that the defender would be coming back in less than 3 weeks.

After the game which his team clinched narrowly by 2-1, Wenger was quoted as saying, “I can’t tell you much about Gabriel. The only thing I know is that he pulled up his hammy and he was hurting enough to leave the pitch.” Continue reading

David Ospina made his league debut for Arsenal in the 3-0 win over Stoke City during the weekend.

The Polish international was at fault in Arsenal’s poor performance against Southampton at the St Mary stadium.

Despite being directly at fault for goal,Szczesny did not show any remorse later. He was even pictured smoking in the dressing room after the match. Continue reading
